Started out this morning early intending to drive whole way from home in Martinsville, IN to my first fossil hunting location near Crawford, Neb. It’s a long way! I made it but struggled the 2nd half of the 17 hour drive because the A/C in my truck pooped out on me; uggh. It was hovering around 95 degrees most of the way. Here’s the sunset that greeted me at 10:30pm (my time), 8:30 local (mountain) time at my destination.

I set up my pop-up camper and went to sleep. I did turn the A/C on and it felt wonderful!
