Headed into town early this morning for an ice replenishment and to do a big load of laundry. Of course I “had” to run into my favorite coffee shop for a nice chai latte!

Back to the dig to work on rolling over the vertebrae jacketed yesterday and I removed all the exposed ossified tendons.

We also put a field jacket on the pubis (hip bone) so the site is getting cleaned up.

Next up will be the big grouping of the three leg bones – plan is to take them all together in one field jacket. Will be big & heavy!

Had a nice family come by to see the dig today. Fun to have them come by and see what a dinosaur excavation looks like

It was another beautiful evening as the sun set on my way back to camp.
