Southern Indiana Paleontology Institute (SIPI for short) is dedicated to field discovery, fossil preparation, preparation student internships and research of vertebrate fossils from the late cretaceous and oligecene periods.

Here’s a link to a very cool 3-D tour of the fossil prep lab. Just click on the link and you can move around the different areas of the lab to check out the fossil preparation workspaces, the little showroom of completed items, the office area, storage shelves full of specimens in the que waiting their turn to be opened up & explored (just don’t be focused on the dirty floors or stuff lying about!).
